The Three-Step Process
Medical Hypnosis
1. Assessment
The first phase is diagnostic. A consultation is scheduled to assess your individual needs and design a strategy specifically for you. Naturally, this is not done with hypnosis, but is a personal conversation at the office with Dr. Phillips. This phase can often be  a single one-hour visit.
2. Treatment
The second phase is your actual course of Hypnotherapy. This can range from as little as one 2-hour meeting to a sequence of several meetings, depending on your individual requirements.
While you are seated in a comfortable chair, Dr. Phillips verbally guides you into a hypnotic state, which is very similar to meditation. You're actually awake, but in a deep state of relaxation that allows access to deeper resources within yourself to facilitate positive change.
3. Follow-up
This is the third stage. The purpose is to carefully monitor your progress along the way and to make any necessary adjustments.
